2013 Labradoodle Trust Calendar Competition
This year the Trustees thought that rather than an online competition we would have a Judging Panel for the photographic entries for the 2013 Labradoodle Trust Calendar.
It is always difficult to choose five good souls from the many fantastic supporters we have but, by putting our heads together and choosing from our supporters who have not fostered or adopted from us, we feel that we have agreed on a good cross section from those available, and we hope those not selected will not be too disappointed and will give their total support to the idea.
The Judges will not be announced until after the final selection has been made - can't have Doodles nobbling the Judges can we.
The 2013 Calendar is going to be like the 2012 Calendar, which so many people say is the best we have produced so far because it portrays so well the work done by the Trust and shows off those lovely creatures we have been lucky enough to help find their forever homes. So all those lucky people out there that have a rescue Doodle from Labradoodle Trust, we would like you to put forward your photographic entries together with a little story about how your Doodle came into your life.
Once the closing date arrives, all entries will be forwarded to our 5 judges who will respond back to the Trustees individually and we will total up the votes. Once we have the winners - all entries will be put onto the Doodle Times forum for general viewing and the winners will be announced at the same time.Hopefully this will enable us to get the Calendar laid out, proof read, and printed ready for sale at the Labradoodle Trust Doodlefest on 14th July 2012.
The rules are as follows:
1. Only photos containing dogs that have been adopted from Labradoodle Trust are eligible for entry.
2. You may only enter photos of dogs which you own.
3. You may NOT, under any circumstances, enter a photograph taken by a professional photographer (unless you are the photographer). All entries must be the original work of the entrant, and must not infringe on the rights of any other party.
4. The photo does not have to be taken especially for the competition, but you cannot enter any photographs which you entered into the previous Labradoodle Trust photo competitions.
5. The photo competition will be open for entries until midnight on 15th April 2012, and absolutely no late entries will be accepted.
6. Only digital entries are accepted. Email your photos to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Photos should be emailed one at a time. The email must have "Calendar Competition" and your name in the subject line.
7. Each image file must be labelled with your name and the dogs’ name. e.g. the file name might be "Joe Bloggs Freddie". In each email please include your name, your address, your phone number, and any relevant or interesting information about the photo.
8. We need original image sizes greater than 2MB for the image to be of good enough quality to reproduce on the calendar. Photos of poor quality may be rejected. Please do not resize your photos before you email them. Please do not enter photos taken on a camera phone.
9. Photos must not have key elements of the composition removed/added and we will not accept composite images, from more than one original photo. Do not add frames to the photos.
10. The 13 photos with the highest amount of votes will appear in the 2013 Labradoodle Trust Calendar. Winners will receive a free copy of the calendar.
11. By entering this competition entrants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules and Labradoodle Trust reserve the right to exclude any entry from the competition at any time if the trustees have reason to believe that an entrant has breached these rules.
12. All entrants agree to allow their submitted photos to be used by Labradoodle Trust for the promotion of the charity at any time.

2011 Auction
We are delighted to announce that the LT Christmas Auction has raised £1015.50 in pledges. Thank you so much to everyone who generously donated and bid for items.
We will confirm the exact total as soon as we can, many people are rounding up and adding in more than their pledges. So until we have all the monies in and counted and then deducted PayPal expenses we wont be able to give an exact figure.
Whilst it doesnt look like we are going to top last years figure, we are sure everyone would agree given the economic climate this is a brilliant total and shows how generous LT supporters are.
All monies raised goes to the work of Labradoodle Trust and without fundraisers like the Auction, the Trust couldn't continue the work it does.
We are still looking for volunteers to help the work of the Trust, so please have a look at the website if you are interested.
Thank you doesn't cover what your help and support means to Labradoodle Trust. But the true life stories on the 2012 calendar and the heart breaking and heart warming events we read about on the forum do demonstrate just what important and life saving work Labradoodle Trust does, with your help - Thank you
