Adoption Procedure...

If you suffer from dog allergies, we ask that you read the information supplied here prior to contacting us.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us, please phone us for a chat.

Once you have discussed your requirements with us we will ask you to complete the online enquiry form. We will not automatically contact you to confirm receipt of an application.

If we think there may be a dog suitable for you we will give you details of that dog and put you in touch with it's fosterer so you can find out a bit more about it.

You must be prepared to have a home check. Please be aware that our volunteer homecheckers may well bring their labradoodles with them when they visit you.

Once you have had your homecheck, please contact us again, allowing a couple of days for the report to be sent to the coordinator. We do not automatically contact you after you have been homechecked.

The dogs in our care are matched to the best home possible for each individual dog following a suitable period of assessment. We do not rehome dogs by means of order on a waiting list.

All dogs are neutered prior to being rehomed.

Adoption Fees

The adoption fee, payable when you collect your dog, is determined by Labradoodle Trust and will contribute to the medical and other expenses incurred on behalf of all the dogs in our care. The fee will be set to reflect the age and condition of the dog. (The maximum fee at January 2010 is £250)

We will always be here to advise on any problems that may occur with your new dog. You MUST agree to return the dog to us if you are unable to keep him or her for any reason throughout their life.
